I am now 28 years old, flying high in the world of Corporate America..  I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics, Cum Laude, from Wilkes University.  I still work for Intel Corp. as a Sr. Software Engineer in Portland, OR.  I am currently working as a Linux kernel developer and network driver developer, working on 10 GbE server devices, and authoring the multiqueue network device API for the Linux kernel.

I love to do a few things outside of computers.  Skiing is one that takes the cake.  There is no feeling like the wind blowing against your face as you see the ground four feet below your skis while you wonder how the hell you're going to land this one....ouch....  Another activity I thoroughly enjoy is boating.  Driving a boat across lakes during the spring, summer, and fall is one of the most relaxing things I can think of (although if I could do it during the winter, I'd still be skiing...).

This now brings me to my final love, my computers.  I own way too many machines, each well-taken care of, and well accessorized.  Let's just say that I have accumulated too many machines, my power bill sucks, but I love each and every one of them like my children (I don't have children, so the computers fit the bill).

I also want to add that a great portion of my life is devoted to music. While I lived in Pennsylvania, I had the distinct pleasure of working with a group called the Lyric Consort. I was able to sing professionally with them for 3 years, and made two CD's while I was with them. I also sang with the Choral Society of Northeast Pennsylvania, a larger chorus, where I was tenor section leader. We did some great works, including Zoltan Kodaly's Missa Brevis and Beethoven's Mass in C-Major, as well as Handle's Messiah with the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic. In addition to singing, I also play the string bass and piano. Music is the other half to my life, and it makes up who I am.

Finally, I want to mention that I have two awesome residents in my house now: my cats, Tux and Aslan. These two boys have been with me since August of 2002, and have become a very important part to my life. They are always around me, and hate it when I'm not around. Check them out on the Photos page!
